Limore Twena, a native of Toronto, Canada, has been
studying Opera, musical theatre and pop vocals for the last
10 years. Limore has studied in London, England with
Kenneth Bowen, the former head of the vocal faculty at the
Royal Academy of Music and with Elaine Overholt, the
vocal coach for the Academy Award-winning movie
“Chicago”. To further develop her 3-Octave range and
Operatic skills, Limore traveled to Rome, where she studied
and performed Italian Opera.
Limore’s sound is an eclectic fusion of Pop/Opera. Her
music has been influenced by her diverse ethnic
background. Her passion for world music has inspired her
to sing in 16 different languages including: Spanish, Italian,
Mandarin and Hebrew. Working with Producer Max Calo
(signed to Grammy Award winning producer Humberto
Gatica), Limore has created a powerful collection of songs,
music and lyrics that speak from her soul.
Limore’s notable performances include: “The Venetian Ball”
Los Angeles, benefiting Amnesty International, the Shaquille
O’neil Los Angeles Police Gala, the annual Children Uniting
Nations “Oscar Party” and “Day of the Child” events, and
the National Conference for Community Justice
Humanitarian Awards. Her performance at the American
Chinese Museum History Maker Awards impressed the
audience when she sang in Mandarin. In Italy, Limore sang
the role of Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the “Festival
Di Roma”.
